7 Sacramento 4th of July Celebrations in 2019

1. Raley Field

Fourth on the Field returns in 2019 with fun for the whole family. Vendors will include face painters, balloon artists, henna artists, magicians, and fortune tellers, and the Down on the Farm kids' area with splash pads will keep your littles busy. There will also be 19 food trucks on site serving up everything from tacos and BBQ to kettle corn and ice cream.

In addition to the field level bars serving up libations, the concourse concession stands will be open for business, serving Raley Field classics you've come to love and pouring all their usual drinks.

With access to the concourse, seating bowl, and field level of the ballpark, you'll want to set up camp on the grass early as space fills up quickly – blankets only as no chairs are allowed on the field.

Gates open at 6pm and the fireworks start at 9:30pm!

2. Cal Expo

A long time Sacramento tradition, July 4th at Cal Expo is an event for the whole family to enjoy.

Claim your spot on the Miller Lite Racetrack Grandstand field with blankets or chairs and enjoy a picnic while listening to live music.

The fireworks show will start at dark – around 9:30pm – with choreographed music provided by 106.5 The End, who will simulcast the music during the light show!

Reserved seating in the grandstands is available for purchase, but general admission for field viewing is free.

3. Rancho Cordova

The signature event for the community, the Rancho Cordova Fourth of July festival is a two-day, no-holds-barred event that celebrates the local community and our American heritage.

Bring the kids out to Hagan park and enjoy a free kids zone, pony rides, archery tag, a BMX show, a zipline, petting zoo, and a bike helmet giveaway.

For you grown-ups, there will be live music, festival food, a beer garden, and more.

And for the whole family there will be carnival ride, a parade, a corn hole tournament, and spectacular fireworks shows.
